The Land Rover team will meet you at your chosen hotel in Windhoek prior to 9.00am and transfer you to where you’ll have your briefing and can familiarise yourselves with the vehicles. We’ll then begin our adventure.
Erongo Mountains (Spitzkoppe)
You’ll tackle some off road tracks near the Erongo Mountains, famous for its balancing rocks, before your lunch stop near the famous Spitzkoppe granite peaks. We’ll then cross the Namib Desert and head for the Skeleton Coast at the town of Henties Bay. From Henties bay we head south but not before you try your hand at some beach driving. A purely exhilarating experience with the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crashing down right beside you.
Swakopmund, Sand Dunes
An exciting morning awaits as you’ll head into the sand dunes that surround Swakopmund. The sight of our Land Rover vehicles traversing the dunes is something to behold and with the capabilities of these vehicles in the sand, they truly come into their own. Your Land Rover Defender will literally eat up the sand dunes and show why they are truly one of the world’s most remarkable off road vehicles.
Back to Windhoek
Depending on your flight time, you’ll have the morning to relax and enjoy the nature around this wonderful place. And possibly get a little shopping done, too. The Land Rover team will transfer you to the airport.
