DAY 1 WELCOME TO MAUN
You’ll be welcomed at the Maun Airport by your Land Rover Experience team. Then we’ll check-in at the lodge and you’ll have the opportunity to relax a little before dinner.
DAY 2 BOTSWANA – OKAVANGO DELTA
We head to Moremi Park. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the river and floodplain before we continue onto our campsite situated on the outskirts of the Okavango Delta. As we enjoy the campfire, dinner will also be prepared around the fire.
DAY 3 BOTSWANA – OKAVANGO DELTA
We go through the Moremi wilderness in the north, an area where very few tourists are prepared to go but where our Land Rovers will take on with ease. Once we arrive in the Khwai area, wild animals are found in abundance and the tranquil waters of the Okavango will be on our doorstep as we make our way to the campsite on the banks of the Khwai River.
DAY 4 BOTSWANA – ELEPHANT SANDS
We start the day with a drive through the Khwai Concession looking out for the beautiful game animals in the area. When we reach the Cutline Road that heads due east in a straight line across Northern Botswana, this drive will take us through many beautiful spots and some remote areas on our way to our next lodge. Our accommodation for the evening is an amazing resort which elephants call home and travel far and wide to enjoy a drink at the waterhole provided by the camp.
DAY 5 & 6 ZIMBABWE – HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
We head for the border post into Zimbabwe at Pandamatenga. Once through the border, the road becomes a dirt track and we pass through many beautiful areas where wildlife abounds. We’ll enter the Hwange National Park at the Robins Gate and continue on an extended safari drive down to the area around Deteema Dam. We’ll check-in at our wonderfully comfortable lodge and enjoy a late afternoon safari drive in an open viewing vehicle followed by an amazingly relaxed evening in this beautiful part of Africa.
DAY 7 ZIMBABWE – VICTORIA FALLS.
An early start for those who wish to take a final drive in the open safari viewing vehicle for a guided safari drive. We’ll then depart to the main road and onto the wonderful little town of Victoria Falls. On arrival at Victoria Falls town, we’ll check-in to our hotel, where you’ll have some free time before we head to Victoria Falls to enjoy some of the most amazing views in Africa.
DAY 8 ZIMBABWE – VICTORIA FALLS AIRPORT
A very relaxed start to our morning. Enjoy a late breakfast before your airport transfer. Then it’s time to say goodbye.
